Tuk Tuk Gilhari

Lakshyam NGO is glad to introduce its New project Tuk Tuk Gilhari in association with Geeli Mitti.

Tuk Tuk Gilhari is India’s first 100% eco-friendly experiential learning center cum animal sanctuary in Noida and now in Gurgaon as well.

Made completely with mud and bamboo, equipped with integrated renewable energy, rainwater harvesting, water recycling, and waste management systems, This one-of-a-kind experiential learning center seeks to facilitate deep and meaningful connections with animals, nature, soil, microflora and fauna, and the myriad bounties of mother nature.

The idea was to create a much-needed sanctuary for rescued and abandoned animals, while simultaneously offering a fun outdoor space for children to interact with animals and develop kindness, compassion, and important life skills.

TTG is a place of love, compassion and learning – between children and animals. Our petting farms are meant to be a loving, eco-friendly sanctuary for all kinds of abandoned and rescued animals including dogs, cats, pigs, donkeys, horses, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, cows and more! Set in lush open spaces easily accessible from the city centre, they provide a fun holistic outing in nature for children and families.

TTG Noida is located within Green Beauty Farms, behind Sector 135, Noida and ….. take address from Anu ( In contact list also add tuk logo and its 2 address) . It is 100% off-grid, managing its own energy, water and waste. And built entirely with mud and bamboo. Even the roofs are built using the waste rice straw which otherwise gets burnt and adds to air pollution.

What we do :

  • Organize Educational workshops for schools, led by our experienced faculty where children get to explore their innate building instinct with mud, do mud sculpting and murals, learn arts & crafts, urban gardening, animal care, pottery and much more.
  • Our specialty vegan restaurant, an architectural marvel built of mud, offers a delectable range of healthy, farm- fresh food and snacks.
  • Providing the ideal setting for children’s birthday parties with furry friends, farm setting, fun games and delicious food. It is bound to be the talk-of-the-town.

And remember that funds generated go to sustain the rescued animals and for treatment of injured animals around the locality.

The post pandemic era has reaffirmed the value of nature and the outdoors for one’s own health and immunity. However, our cities and fast-paced lifestyles offer little scope to truly interact with nature and the elements. We have always believed in learning through experience and in the immense magical healing power of flora, fauna, soil, love, laughter. It is guided by this philosophy that we bring you Tuk-Tuk Gilhari, to allow children and adults alike to explore their innate creativity and have truly meaningful experiences in nature while living in the city.

Our project Rooh (Awakening Women’s Soul) empowers women to generate self-employment and a means of income through imparting vocational training and professional skills. We help women overcome their worst fears and become independent. They are trained in different fields according to their interests and involved in a variety of activities which include making Handicraft Products. These handmade products are made mostly out of waste and converted to really useful items. For the women making these products is a symbol of pride that they have learned to be on their own and proved themselves that they are self-sufficient.
By purchasing these hand made products you can make a small contribution in raising the spirits and confidence of the less-privileged women who make them specially for us.
The profit that comes from selling these products is given to the women who create it and some of it is utilized in the programs of Lakshyam related to education and empowerment.
Below are some of the Handicraft Products made by women under Lakshyam’s Rooh Program.
