Kiran

Kiran’s journey from a child who had never been to school to a dedicated teacher was a testament to the impact @lakshyamngo had made. When we first encountered Kiran in the community 15 years ago, only a fraction of the children there had the opportunity to attend school. However, by the time we left the community, 100 per cent of the children were enrolled in school.

For Kiran, the memories of our time together were cherished. We engaged in numerous extracurricular activities, from creating a documentary about @lakshyamngo to visits to play areas and even celebrating Teacher’s Day. We provided her with stage exposure at events organized by Optum, and over the years, we captured her journey through pictures.

Such stories are the ones that make our day, my day, and hopefully, yours too. Every individual who has been part of the @lakshyamngo journey has contributed to creating change makers and encouraging social transformation. It is through these personal triumphs that we derive inspiration to continue our work tirelessly.

Our mission is not only about education but also about instilling hope, ambition, and self-belief in the hearts of children who have been denied opportunities. Kiran’s story is just one example of the transformative power of education and the impact it has on shaping lives.
