Solar Lamp Distribution

One of Lakshyam’s center is located in the slum area of Kirby Place in Delhi Cantonment. There are around 5000 families residing here since last 22 years without any electricity. This is just one example of the pitiable condition that they live in.

We distributed 100 solar lamps to the families of children studying at our center in the area, so that they can study even during the dark hours. The purpose of this event was to help the children and make the families understand the importance of education.

The charity event was also attended by the MLA of Delhi Cantonment, Mr. Virender Singh and SHO (Dhaula Kuan) Mr. Jagdish Rai. They appreciated Lakshyam for doing the on-ground work in the area to make a significant change.

Creating Rural Women Entrepreneurs

In a charity event organized at Kirby Place in Delhi, Lakshyam handed over 10 Sewing Machines to the selected women so that they can do a skilled based work to earn a living and support their families. It is one of Laskhyam’s mission to create women entrepreneurs by providing them skilled based training and materials to achieve it.

Distribution of Ration Kits

We distributed 200 Ration kits to the families living in the slum areas of Delhi and Jharkhand. The first event distribution event was held in Nala Camp in delhi and the second as held in Namkum Village of Ranchi in Jharkhand.

We always take up such initiatives to help the needy people in these tough times where they are battling poverty and pandemic together. There was a gathering of around 100 people in total. We took all precautions looking at the covid situation and strictly allowed one person from each family to visit and get the donations with proper social distancing in place.

Installing Handpump in

Lakshyam has installed a few water hand pumps in one of the slum areas of Ghaziabad (in collaboration with Binomo Trading Company)

Hundreds of families have been directly and indirectly benefitted from this initiative to provide one of the most basic necessities – Water.

Installation of Solar Panels

Lakshyam has installed a solar panel system to run some water pumps for agricultural use in the outskirts of Noida.
